Is it possible to be “terminally single”?? Well, in the case of Rachel this term may very well apply. In the film Something Borrowed, based upon the novel by Emily Giffin, Rachel is a hopeful young attorney who meets the perfect guy and sees a future with him… until he meets her very best friend and falls in love. Poor Rachel. But as the couple prepares for marriage, Rachel recklessly finds herself in bed with the man she could/should never have.
Ginnifer Goodwin stars as the hapless Rachel, and Kate Hudson as vibrant best friend Darcy. Dax, the object of their desires, is played by All My Children heartthrob Colin Egglesfield, while John Krasinski takes on the role of Rachel’s male confidant.
It looks like there will be a good little lesson in this movie about going after what you really want, and being honest with yourself about it. But really, I’ll watch it for the chemistry of this talented cast when it hits theaters on May 6!
