NFL 2010: Week 10 Top Disappointments! Dallas Do-Si-Do!? Twitter Trouble! Donation No-No?

Can you believe this NFL season is already in to Week 10! This week the Dallas Cowboys made a big change, more players were added to injured reserved list, a player got in Twitter trouble and more! Are you ready for more football? We sure are!

Here we go with our Top 7 Disappointments after Week 9′s antics!

1. Head coach Wade Phillips of the Dallas Cowboys was fired after a horrible 1-7 start this season, and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones named offensive coordinator Jason Garrett as acting head coach. Good luck Garrett! Hopefully, he can make sense of the debauchery going in Dallas.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers get banged up, but still pulled out a win over the Cincinnati Bengals. During the game, safety Will Allen and running backs Mewelde Moore and Isaac Redman all suffered concussions. Ouch!

3. Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian received a $5,000 lesson for wearing yellow cleats. Berrian will be docked the full amount, and has no plans on wearing the wrong color cleats again. Lesson learned! Abide by the league dress code!

4. Star running back Ray Rice of the Baltimore Ravens learned a little lesson in “when tweeting goes wrong.” Rice took to Twitter about an incident that made it seem like when he was pulled over he didn’t receive a ticket because he signed an autograph for a police officer. An investigation showed that Rice didn’t receive special treatment, so the officer will not receive any disciplinary action. Hey Ray, the tweets are watching! Beware!

5. The Cowboys lost two more players as defensive end Marcus Spears and safety/kickoff returner Akwasi Owusu-Ansah were placed on injured reserve. Owusu-Ansah was injured on October 31 during the Jacksonville Jaguars game, and Spears injured his calf during the Green Bay match up on Sunday night (Nov. 7).

6. After a hard helmet-to-helmet hit, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie was ruled out with a concussion for this weekend’s game versus the Cincinnati Bengals. The injury occurred from a hit by safety Kurt Coleman of the
Philadelphia Eagles in the Sunday night game (Nov. 7), which the Colts lost 26-24.

7. The University of North Carolina claims that their former all star athlete Hakeem Nicks gave $3,300 to other UNC football team members. The New York Giants wide receiver was named in a press release, along with four other individuals who were accused as well. Yes, this goes to show everyone that it is a crime to be a nice guy!

What were your biggest disappointments this week? Take a moment to vote and let us know!

Is it just me, or has this season been a little boring? With the exception of a couple of good games, I haven’t found much to get excited about…
